Christian Reyes Torres, 25, had been staying with his brother but was asked to leave on Thursday, Dec. 14, the State Fire Marshal's Office said.
Torres later returned and began arguing with family members, and threatened to burn down the house, officials said.
It wasn't long before it was discovered that Torres' brother's trailer was found engulfed in flames, along with the brush and tree limbs it had been hauling, officials said.
Firefighters extinguished the fire within minutes, and no injuries were reported.
Torres was quickly identified as a suspect and was later arrested by the Washington County Sheriff, and charged with arson second-degree, malicious burning first-degree, malicious destruction of property over $1,000 rogue and vagabond, and arson threat.
He was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was held without bond.
